It seems to display the mounting memory even if it is not possible to recognize it
since XP SP3 and Vista SP1.
I tried up to 3GB(1GBx2 + 512MBx2) in DesktopPC + WindowsXP.
Because it was 32bitOS, even only 2GB+ was recognized.
The remainder is used with RAMDISK.
As for 4GB in Vista(32Bit), it is 2.6GB(Memory) + 256MB(VideoRAM) + It uses it with 1.2GB
(RAMDISK).
1.2GB of RAMDISK is used in the work area.
Example : C:\TEMP(HDD) -> R:\TEMP(RAMDISK)
Have you tried with Windows XP?
I have Vostro 1000 + Windows XP Home + 2x2GB (??)
dekiru?
